We are back at the Crewe Heritage Centre for our 7th year with the 2019 Crewe Rail Ale Festival #CRAF. The main exhibition hall plays host to the bars and entertainment but your ticket also includes access to the museum exhibits.
The Crewe Heritage Centre was constructed on the site of the original Crewe locomotive works by Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council during 1986-87 and was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in July 1987.
One of the most popular attractions is the 600 yard Miniature Railway consisting of six locomotives. The miniature railway was opened in 1992 with two engines, these two engines can still be seen today, in full working order, thanks to the dedication of the staff.
Crewe Rail Ale Festival takes place at the Crewe Heritage Centre on Friday 6th (noon – 11pm £3), Saturday 7th (noon – 10pm £3) and Sunday 8th September (noon – 3pm free entry). There are no advance tickets, pay on the door.
