Having taken over the brewing reins in Thomas Street Crewe, Sean of Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse will be sending us some of his first cask beers. At the time of writing this Sean was drawing up his brewing schedule and talking about a chocolate orange stout, a New Zealand hopped steam beer and possibly a soured cherry Baltic porter. You’ll have to check back soon to see what makes it to the final beer list.
Sean and Jacqui Ayling setup Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse in June having taken over the old Offbeat Brewery site. Sean was head brewer and partner at Pig and Porter before the couple decided to strike out in their own venture independently. The taproom will be open across the beer festival at the following times (14th noon – 11pm 15th noon – 11pm 16th noon – 6pm September) so pop in for a look round and a pint of beer brewed on site.
Why not sponsor the beer from Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse or one of our other casks for only £50? Click here for more information.
Crewe Rail Ale Festival takes place at the Crewe Heritage Centre on Friday 14th (noon – 11pm £3), Saturday 15th (11am – 10pm £3) and Sunday 16th September (noon – 3pm free entry). There are no advance tickets, pay on the door.
